Work with Interventional/Vascular Radiology Physicians, aiding the physicians with patient evaluation, (including completing patient
histories and physical examinations), consultations, assisting and performing IR procedures, as well as acting as a resource for case
management. 

Requirements:
* Completion and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistants program.
* PA certification, DC licensure. 
* 3-5 years outpatient and IR/Vascular experience preferred. 
* Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care; skill in establishing and maintaining 
   effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. 
* Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

* Phlebotomy skills required.

Opportunity for Physician Assistant to join newly established sports medicine orthopaedic practice.  Work with a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon.  Responsibilities include assisting with surgical cases and outpatient visits.  The surgeon is also the team physician for the Hartford Wolf Pack (professional hockey) and area high schools.

New England – Orthopedics 

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for an orthopedic position with a  multi-specialty clinic setting in New England. The focus of this practice is spine surgery. 4 spine surgeons in this group. Duties will be a combination of  Clinic (4 days/wk) and Surgery (1 day/wk). Schedule will be M-F, 8a – 5p. No call, no weekends!!! This is not a high stress environment. Your direct employer will be an institution, which owns the clinic. Compensation will be $70-115k with a comprehensive benefit package including 4 wks vacation, malpractice, health insurance, retirement and 1 wk paid CME. Generous relocation allowance. If you like orthopedic surgery and don't want to work yourself to death, this is the one for you. This beautiful location is in one of the New England states - very scenic near lakes, ski and resort areas. Plenty of hiking, fishing, biking and outdoor recreation as well. Reasonable cost of living, friendly neighbors, clean air, good schools. Another one of the best places to be.
