Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant

Critical Care PA 

This is a PA/attending driven service with CCU, SICU, CTICU.  Positions are 12 hr. shifts with rotational coverage of overnights and weekends.   We are seeking experienced critical care PAs as well as PAs who are more recent graduates but have at least a year of current hospital based experience in medicine, emergency medicine, or cardiology.  Must have ACLS.

PA-Emergency Medicine

We are currently seeking physician assistants for our emergency room at the Moses Campus.   PAs in this ED cover both fast track/urgent care and the main ER.  The ER at this site is the 4th busiest ER in the country.  Shifts are 12 hrs with rotations to weekends and overnight.  Experienced ED PAs and new grads welcome.  Current ACLS required.

NEW YORK CITY (Manhattan)
Physician Assistant - Orthopaedics  (EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!)

Single Specialty Group of Orthopaedic Surgeons seek a full-time Physician Assistant.  The position can be 100% clinic based or if the PA desires, there can be OR time.  Two to three of the days in the clinic, the PA will be running a satellite clinic within the Boroughs of New York.  The new PA must be able to see, independently, 20 to 30 patients per day with a satellite clinic.  The position consists of evaluation of muscular skeletal injuries, evaluating and ordering diagnostic tests (MRI, CT and X-Ray), post-op H&P's, some reductions and the PA will run a parallel clinic.  There is some volume of no fault personal injury.  The work hours are 40 per week.  There is minimal or no call and no weekends! 

The location is based in Manhattan which is the mecca of culture, arts, great restaurants and universities!  Candidates must have a minimum of three to four years of orthopaedic experience!  Also, the group would prefer local candidates (NYC tri-state area).  Salary depends on experience (range:  $95k to $120k), plus bonus potential.  Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.  Please send your resume to the attention of Fred Perlman at: e.perlman@gte.net

Healthcare System seeks a full-time Physician Assistant.  This position will be a split between the OR and the Clinic.  The new PA will support a well-established General Orthopaedic Surgeon that has a very successful practice.  Previous PA experience is a must!    The position averages 40 hours per week with a call of 1/3.  The work week is four days per week and ten hours per day.
